Sewing for our future

We are a group of young female sewers who make bags, wallets and accessories out of hand-woven Tais cloth. We started making and selling bags in 2005 and today we have expanded our product line to include a wide range of personal accessories. All of our Tais come from the Tais Market in Dili. We select each one with care to ensure high quality and eye-catching variety.

Tais is a traditional Timorese cloth hand-woven by women on back strap looms. Each piece has its own individual pattern and color combination depending on the weaver and the region from  where the Tais is made. Timorese  dress in Tais for special occasions but we also use Tais for decoration.
